Can you introduce yourself ?
My name is Zoé Picciotto and I am 30 years old. Parisian by birth, I went to Geneva for university (HEAD Geneva). I have been a freelance graphic designer & illustrator for 4 years. I am passionate about what I do and work with various brands and groups. I love exploring everyone's own universe and succeeding in proposing a project that they like and that fits best with their vision. I have to adapt to each client, which has taught me to be flexible and patient.

What is a typical day in your life?
I get up at 8 a.m., I shower and get dressed fairly quickly, then I rush to the office on foot (40 min walk). I make a list of things to do or return depending on the projects, I quickly check my emails. I spend my day on the computer using Illustrator and Indesign or drawing. A few calls, a lot of WhatsApp, I have lunch in 10 minutes in front of the computer. I continue in the afternoon and return around 6 p.m. Then, boxing classes and dinner with friends or family and then bed.

What made you want to start a business?
I swore I would never be self-employed, I was unhappy and less fulfilled in my previous job. I resigned, and my family encouraged me to go freelance. I didn't think I could sell my drawings. In my family, almost everyone is an entrepreneur, so that may have influenced my decision. I had to learn a lot on the job, but I always asked for help, from everyone, including my clients. Because sharing is caring :)!
What is your guilty pleasure?
All breakfast cereals.
What are your plans ?
Develop my freelance status, get more and more projects, refine my style, work more on packaging and visual identity. Expand my skills in the field of animation/video because it is truly a profession in its own right. But this is the new challenge for 2024!
