RENCONTRE AVEC ESTELLE, LA FONDATRICE DE TAKE OFF

MEET ESTELLE, THE FOUNDER OF TAKE OFF

Posted by JOD Paris on

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Estelle, I am 27 years old. Originally from Annecy, I have always loved to travel. I also spent some time in Australia, a country that I loved for its nature, but also for its dynamic, sporty lifestyle, and the chill and open vision of the Australians; (and also because I love the sun!)

What are the 3 adjectives that could define you?

It's rather difficult to talk about oneself and define oneself in 3 objectives. In any case, I think that those that describe me the most are: determined, sensitive and generous. I set myself objectives, targets (and that doesn't matter the field) but I am also open and very attentive to others. I need the people around me to feel good and to be fulfilled.

What are you most proud of?

My greatest pride is to have gotten out of a difficult personal situation and to have been able to bounce back and transform this weakness into strength. I am also extremely proud to have dared, to have taken the plunge and to have realized my dream: to found my brand, TakeOff. & at the same time very proud to transmit my vision of well-being.

What is the most important value that you would like to pass on to your children or that you radiate around you?

Believe in yourself, believe in your dreams, self-love but also perseverance & work.

What makes you feel good?

I am a big fan of outdoor sports: whether it's short runs in the forest or by a lake, hikes and trails in the mountains, not forgetting long surfing sessions during the sunset... It's really in these moments that I managed to find my balance and personal fulfillment.

What are the moments you like to share with family or friends?

Travel! I really need to constantly discover new things, new landscapes, new cultures, new ways of life, and I like to share these moments of discovery. I am also very happy to share a simple meal with my loved ones.

What would you like to achieve that is more environmentally friendly?

Reduce my plastic consumption even if it is sometimes complicated... I would also like to consume more locally and above all avoid waste!

How do you see yourself in 15 years?

In 15 years I see myself at the head of TakeOff, still as passionate, with lots of new projects and surrounded by the people I love. But I also want to learn to live in the present moment without putting too much pressure on myself about the future ;)

What advice would you give to the person you were 20 years ago?

I would tell him that in life not everything is black or white, that there are ups and downs but that you have to manage to focus on the positive and that the storm always ends up passing. I would also tell him to always believe in his dreams and that work will eventually pay off.

What is a typical day in your life?

I get up quite early, 6am max.
Then, (bad reflex) but I feel obliged to check my emails and messages...
Then I wash my face, then I make myself a tea and a good breakfast (always with the TakeOff protein ;) ). During my breakfast, I make my to do list for the day.
Then I go back to work (I work from home or on the road for appointments) until around noon. Then I try to do a workout (about 30 to 45 minutes) and then I have a quick meal. & off to work again!
End of the day, around 6pm I try to go for a walk to get some fresh air and clear my head. Then dinner (I try to cook homemade meals as much as possible)! After that it's a quick series and bed! I go to bed pretty early ;)

What makes you beautiful?

Tanning! I feel so much better with a tanned complexion! And also when I feel happy, fulfilled and confident.

What is your essential beauty routine?

Logically the beauty of the interior ;)
Take my collagen sticks and hyaluronic acid capsules daily to preserve my skin and give it everything it needs.

What do you have in your handbag?

Deodorant... always in case!

What made you want to start a business?

Surprisingly, I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I didn't know it would be so early, but it's something I've always had in me. While absolutely no one in my family is an entrepreneur. I had to learn a lot on my own (and I still have a lot to learn).

What is your guilty pleasure?

Definitely chocolate! But I try not to make it feel guilty!

What are your plans?

Developing TakeOff, making people understand the importance of nutrition on our overall well-being. Accompanying people in their quest for well-being and helping them achieve their goals. Making food supplements much more accessible so that they fit perfectly into our routines.

What makes you strong?

The support of those around me and the success of the goals I set for myself.

What would you like to change on earth for your children? Kindness and respect for each other.

What is your definition of beauty?

Beauty is relative, for me real beauty is accepting yourself and loving yourself fully without asking too many questions. For me, the most important thing is to feel good in your head and in your body.

What does being natural mean to you?

Just be yourself, accept yourself and not worry about what others think.

Your biggest regret?

I think my biggest regret is not having always managed to communicate and having kept & stored too many things for myself.

Your wildest dream?

Living abroad and discovering as many landscapes as possible. After that, I have another one in reserve, but for now I'm keeping it for myself ;)
