PORTRAIT OF CHARLOTTE TAPIRO: TV, RADIO AND EVENTS HOST

Posted by JOD Paris on

Can you introduce yourself ?

My name is Charlotte, I am married to Frank and mother of an almost 6 year old boy named Elie.

What 3 adjectives could define you?

Reliable, authentic and “tortured”.

What is your greatest pride?

My greatest pride is quite recent: I am in the process of moving away from TCA (eating disorders) which have polluted me for a very large part of my life.

What is the most important value that you would like to pass on to your children or that you spread to those around you?

Respect for one's neighbor is a value that is essential to me

What makes you feel good?

Knowing that my loved ones and friends are happy. I like knowing that the people I love are at peace.

What moments do you like to share with family or friends?

I love them all !! well almost.

I have a special emotion for morning cuddles with my son and my husband.

Elie shows up with his cuddly toy in our room and he tells us “hug all 3”!!

I love dinners for 5 with my daughters-in-law, Elie and my husband. Our “blended” family is one of my pillars.

I'm a fan of aperitifs with friends. And more particularly “Tapiro dinners” that I love to organize at home.

What would you like to achieve that is more ecological?

I would like to waste less. I'm improving anyway. But I had phases of “fear of missing out” which made me accumulate way too many things.

I shed my weight little by little and don't reproduce.

How do you see yourself in 15 years?

I smile. I don't fear getting old. But I would like to grow old. So I see myself as active, mother of a 20-year-old young man, traveling with my husband.

What advice would you give to the person you were 20 years ago?

Don't worry, everything will be fine, trust me. Trust yourself !

What is a typical day in your life?

I don't really have a typical day...

Wake up around 7:30 a.m., “Hugs all 3” (see answer above), preparation for Eliechou and discussion around breakfast before school.

Back home to do my Pilate / muscle strengthening then I prepare by listening to the radio. I adore.

Then it varies: departure for a show, live, conference filming…

If I don't have a performance, I make sure to be in front of the school at 4:30 p.m. My happiness !

Snack, homework (CP, I’m still getting there).

Evening rituals: Elie goes to bed around 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m. max and romantic evening to debrief the day with my husband. When we don't have an outing planned.

What makes you beautiful?

Lightness, calming, and then a little make-up!

What is your essential beauty routine?

Makeup removal. It is essential for me, whether I wear makeup or not. I take great care to cleanse my skin at the end of each day. This is a moment for me.

What do you have in your purse?

So, I almost only have shopping bags, which tells you how many things I carry around!

My Hypnotic Poison deodorant, my moisturizing pink lipstick, my Ravintsara essential oil, a small toothpick (in case), tissues, my credit cards, my headphones, my phone and a doliprane stick for my son.

What made you want to start a business?

It imposed itself on me. While I had started a career in cosmetics marketing in a large group, a huge uneasiness pushed me to change path. I had the great fortune to meet Morgane (my N+2) and Fréderic (the HR manager) along the way who supported and accompanied me. I thank them every day. A career reorientation that opened up new horizons for me.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Going back to bed with my coffee after dropping my son off at school…..I love this moment so much…

What are your plans ?

Pursue my career as a mistress of ceremonies. I like to help and support brands and companies to showcase themselves through conventions, galas, etc.

Develop the show that Frank and I launched on Vivre FM since last September every Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “A2 C’est Meilleur”

TV projects which I hope will see the light of day soon and secretly I dream of creating my brand of jewelry and accessories…

What makes you strong?

My duo with my husband. Frank is my best friend, my love, my lover, my confidant, my partner, my associate…

What would you like to change on earth for your children?

I would like to eradicate hatred of others. This response is very “Miss France” but I have a hard time with the idea that my son could be attacked or mocked for what he is.

What is your definition of beauty?

Harmony and radiance.

What does being natural mean to you?

To be natural is not to be transformed. To be natural is to be aligned. To be natural is to embrace who you are.

Your biggest regret ?

Having wasted so much time wanting to be different: thinner, taller, darker, more normal, less different, smoother, more popular...

Your wildest dream?

Host a TV show in the US or UK. Who knows?
